[00:00:00] Hey. Hey. I'm Shana A. And you're listening to delightful audiosodes. These are mini episodes designed to spark inspiration and provide practical tips for therapists looking to diversify their professional income and achieve lucrative, fulfilling careers beyond the couch. You're listening to season two, episode five, titled I've got the Magic. Welcome back to the go to space for therapists looking to build lucrative, sustainable businesses beyond the therapy room. You know who I am already. I'm so happy to be here and be talking to you today about magic. Now, this may sound corny, but the magic framework is a framework that I created. And if you've been feeling stuck in your business, unsure how to expand, or overwhelmed by the options for growth, this episode is for you. Today we're breaking down the magic framework. It's a strategic approach that will help you leverage your skills, set yourself up for success, and take action toward the career you actually want. Let's go. I came up with the magic framework after asking those around me, those who've worked with me, my friends, my family, what it is that they thought of me. Whenever they think of me, like, what's the first thing that comes to their mind? A lot of people said magic and whimsical and of course, princess and Disney, because they know that your girl is a Disney girl. And so from that, I really thought about what it is that really drove my inner magic and really drove the whimsiness about me. So this led me to really think about how do we embrace our inner magic and how do we allow for that to lead our businesses? And that led me to the magic framework. It's built around three key actions. Leverage, set, and action helping therapists move from uncertainty to a thriving, expansive career. So let's walk through each part. M stands for mindset and mastery. It's about shifting from restrictive, traditional views of therapy to embracing curiosity and innovation. The first barrier to expansion isn't your skills, it's your mindset. And if you don't believe growth is possible, you won't take action. So this step also includes self mastery, examining your biases, your fears and your expectations, as well as your inner skills, your hobby, the things that make you unique that help to frame who you are and how you're approaching your business. A stands for assess and align. And this is all about clarity. You have valuable skills, knowledge, and passions that can be leveraged into scalable offers. But you need to assess them first. What do you love? What are you great at? What problems can you solve? Once you have clarity, the Next step is aligning that strengths with the people that you serve and the mental health industry. This is how you create a niche that makes sense and pays well. Next is to generate. Generate moves you from ideas to action. Too many therapists get stuck in brainstorming mode without taking steps forward. You need to be able to generate income producing ideas and then generate a plan to approach those income producing ideas that make them real. Whether that's consulting, coaching, creating digital products or VIP services. This is where your strategy comes in. And lately you've been seeing that. I've been talking a lot about strategy, but I also just hosted a leverage challenge. So as you can see, we're moving through this so that we can get to the point of the next part, which is implementation. But using structured planning techniques keeps you focused and accountable and it keeps you moving forward through the process. Next part is implement. And implement is where the magic happens. This is where you're taking actions so your ideas don't make money alone. You know this, but execution does. This is the phrase where it's all about taking action, testing what works, and refining your approach. It's about launching your services, marketing them effectively, speaking to the right people, and building consistency so that your business can grow in a way that's sustainable for you. And the last part, which is my favorite part, it's one that's simultaneous, it's happening all around. This process is connect. It's the key to long term success. The way you engage with your audience, nurture your relationships and establish your authority will determine your reach. So first you connect with your audience by creating content and conversations that resonate. Next, you connect with your community by building relationships with peers, collaborators and mentors. And then finally, you connect with your sphere of influence by positioning yourself as a leader through content creation, speaking and networking. When you apply magic to your business, you create a clear pathway to scaling your income impact and authority without running yourself into the ground. So this week I want you to take the magic approach. Your action for the week is to identify where you might be stuck in the magic framework. What part of this do you find yourself not seeing all the way through? Are you hesitating because of your mindset struggles? Do you need clarity on your niche and how to align it with your skills? Are you generating ideas but failing to implement them? Do you struggle with connecting and building relationships that drive your business forward?
